Bachelor of Business Administration ( Computer Application)
The Department of B.B.A(C.A) commenced from the academic year 2009-2010 with the objective of providing the latest quality education in the field of computer application.
Bachelor of Business Administration - Computer Application, formerly known as Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A) is a 3 year undergraduate program divided in 6 semesters. This course is popular among students who want to pursue a career in IT (Information Technology).
The mission of the department is to offer a high-quality education in the computer applications, as well as to prepare students for career opportunities in this area requiring a high level of technical knowledge and skill. Students are trained according to the demands of the industry and economy.B.B.A(C.A) comprises of subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming languages like ‘C’ and ‘java’. This course provides a lot of opportunities to the students who want to work in the IT sector as programmer or software developer.
Department of B.B.A(C.A) has highly qualified and dedicated faculty members.The Department has maintained a well-equipped computer laboratory with latest computer software. Students graduated from this Department are placed in reputed IT Industries, Educational Industries in India and abroad. Most of the students have opted for higher studies also. The Department ensures that program objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored through periodical tests and assignments.
Faculty members organize various skill based training program like interview, Group Discussion, Image building, aptitude skill for the students to make them employable. They are also very connected with the students in informing them about various placement activities through the social networking sites. After completing B.B.A (C.A), a student can go for Masters in Computer Application (MCA) which is considered equivalent to engineering course (B.Tech)
